LASSEN

My second attempt at Lassen. My first pass through turned out to be the wrong season. The Northwest side of the park is a great destination with a Summer Camp vibe. However, I found out too late the higher elevation sections of the Southwest are better for photography.

If you are into hiking, the summit of Lassen is incredible. You can lunch inside the volcanic crater. Also make sure to stay at the Lassen Mineral Lodge. It’s an experience.
