On a roadtrip to and from Seattle I made stops in the Redwoods at Elk Prairie campground. The first swing through I scoped out a lot a great spots but by shots didn't turn out because I kept losing the light. When I swung back down I spent a few days trying to shoot those spots. I knew when to go to which spot and made sure to get there early so I could use that good light. Below you can see some of the examples.
It was also fun to meet other National Park Junkies on this trip, too. One vagabond was biking from Seattle down to San Diego, then was hitching a ride to Hawaii - all with just a small backpack.
